Speaker Bio
Jeb Terry is President and CEO of Cosm, the leading global experiential media and immersive technology company redefining the way the world experiences content. Based in Los Angeles, the ex-NFL lineman and former Fox Sports executive oversees the company and its global footprint, creating must-see-to-believe experiences for fans around the world.
Terry’s post-playing career in business kicked off after a successful run as an offensive lineman with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers. While pursuing his MBA at UNC, he interned as an associate at Goldman Sachs before co-founding his visionary start-up StraightCast Media in 2010, which delivered athlete-driven audio and video content to fans, broadcasters, and media partners in real time. When the company was acquired by Fox Sports Digital in 2015, Terry was named Vice President of Program Management to lead multi-platform activations around FOX’s vast sports portfolio, including marquee sports events ranging from the Super Bowl and UFC Championship fights to the World Series and FIFA World Cup. This provided Terry with hands-on experience in digital, mobile, and social content, as well as reality technologies (VR, AR, XR), linear distribution, and everything in between.
After his time at Fox, Terry co-founded a venture-backed blockchain company that developed one of the world’s first sports-focused NFT projects, allowing him to continue exploring and identifying groundbreaking opportunities that empower fans, deliver unique experiences, and benefit the entire sports ecosystem.
Today, Terry’s curiosity, energy, and optimism are embodied throughout Cosm and fuel its pioneering vision across all aspects of the business. Incorporating the innovations and rich histories of its multiple acquisitions – Evans & Sutherland, Spitz, LiveLikeVR, and most recently C360 – Cosm is leveraging its end-to-end capabilities to completely redefine the way the world experiences content.
Along with his role at Cosm, Terry is also Managing Director at Mirasol Capital, the private equity and venture arm of the Winn Family Office led by Stephen T. Winn.
Terry earned his BA and MBA from UNC’s Kenan Flagler Business School. He also participated in the NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He makes his home in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
