Session Description
IOWN Global Forum has been working to define Open All Photonics Networks (Open APN), which is an optical circuit-switched network that can be used for the closer integration of optical transport and radio access or disaggregated computing systems. In this session, IOWN Global Forum's technical leaders will present an overview of IOWN Global Forum's Open APN and explain how this new network will contribute to the evolution of radio access networks (RANs) and multi-access edge computing (MEC).
