Mascaros has a large family kitchen which seats 20, a beautiful large entrance lounge with original fireplace, dining area and a table football. First floor lounge with tv and dvd player and a snooker table provides perfect spot for relaxation after a busy day. Puzzles, games (chess) and dvds are provided.

Masia has 8 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with either shower and/or bath. All bedrooms have double beds and some of them also have single beds. Masia sleeps up to 20 guests. Cots are available for small children as well as high chairs.

The first floor terrace, with built in BBQ, looks over the wonderful and peaceful Baix Emporda countryside, ideal for relaxing on warm evenings. The large beautiful garden (+/-30 ares) includes a 12 metre swimming pool and a decked gazebo next to a large koi pond. In the garden there are several peaceful seated areas for sun and shade.

LAYOUT

Ground floor: Two en-suite double bedrooms, entrance lounge with a dining area, kitchen, reception room with a table football and one toilet.

Middle floor: 4 en-suite double bedrooms (one also has an extra single bed), a big lounge with a full size snooker table, tv and dvd. Access to terrace which has a BBQ.

Top floor: Two en-suite bedrooms (one with double bed and two single beds, one with double bed and single bed).

Garden: Large private garden with several seating areas for relaxation, 12 metre swimming pool with sun lounge area, covered table tennis, a gazebo, private parking for 5 cars.

In the village two restaurants provide high quality traditional Iberian cuisine sourced locally and excellent local wines. There is also a small groceries shop open on weekdays. Other shopping possibilities can be found in towns such as Parlava, La Bisbal d’Emporda and Torroella de Montgri.

The golden beaches of the Costa Brava at L’Estartit, Begur, Pals and Palafrugell are about 15 minutes away. A par 3 golf course is only 5 minutes away.

For Dali fans, all the museums are relatively close – Púbol, Figueres and Cadaqués.

There are many small settlements nearby amongst olive and almond groves. They are ideal for walkers and cyclists to explore.

The nearest railway station is Flaçà (15 mins away), which provides easy access to Girona (15 mins) and to Barcelona (1,5 hours).
